An antique Korean hanging scroll color woodblock, titled Banchado of King Jeongjo. The artwork documents a royal procession by King Jeongjo of the Joseon Dynasty in 1795. A banchado is an illustration from an uigwe, a royal manual of Joseon Dynasty rituals, and this particular work depicts the kings eight-day journey to Hwaseong to visit his fathers tomb and celebrate his mothers 60th birthday.
