An oil on board painting by Anatoly Timofeevich Zverev. The artwork titled Sancho Panza depicts an equestrian figure of a fictional character in the novel Don Quixote, written by Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra in 1605. Signed with initials. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the State Research Institute of Restoration, Moscow. Date: 1985. Framed. Provenance: Estate of Eric Jansson, Roswell, Georgia. Anatoly Zverev was a Nonconformist artist, a representative of the second wave of the Russian avant-garde, and a painter of the Soviet underground.
