A Russian Imperial medal, For Special Military Merit, a medal of the Russian Empire awarded to military personnel who distinguished themselves during the construction of the Oranienbaum Krasnaya Gorka railway line and military fortifications on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland. The obverse of the medal depicts a profile portrait of Nicholas II, without any inscriptions or regalia. On the reverse, around the edge of the medal, is the inscription: For Special Military Merit.
