A large Central African Congo Tabwa people handcrafted ceramic vessel. The vessel is shaped like a nude female figure with elongated arms and shortened legs. The neck of the vessel widens at the top. It is decorated with ethnic patterns throughout. Note: used for healing ceremonies. The Tabwa are a Bantu-speaking ethnic group primarily living in the Democratic Republic of Congo and northeastern Zambia, on the shores of Lake Tanganyika and along the Luapula River.
