Portrait of Nicholas II, view of the Lyceums facade, and inscription Thanks to You, Our Tsar, 1911 on the reverse. Sculpted by Maria Dillon, 1858 to 1932. The Imperial Lyceum in Tsarskoye Selo near Saint Petersburg was an educational institution founded in 1811 with the object of educating youths of the best families who would afterwards occupy important posts in the Imperial service.
