Studied: California College of Arts and Crafts. Atsushi Kikuchi was born just after the turn of the century and spent his childhood in Japan. After moving to the San Francisco area, he received a scholarship to study art and moved to Los Angeles to pursue an art career. After the war, he moved to Chicago.
