In the center is a silver coin of the Russian Empire with a face value of 1 ruble from 1839, dedicated to the opening of the monument-chapel on the Borodino field. Hallmarked with a 925 silver standard mark next to a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right, the Faberge mark, and other Cyrillic marks.
