Spanish Talavera tin-glazed earthenware bowl from Toledo (Talavera de la Reina), dating to the late 18th–early 19th century. Of deep circular form with an everted rim, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with a central floral medallion surrounded by concentric bands of geometric and stylised foliate motifs. Covered in a creamy tin glaze showing characteristic firing imperfections, pinholing and age-related crazing. The unglazed footrim shows expected wear with a small firing crack.
