An antique Chinese Famille Rose porcelain sugar lidded jar from the Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty features a globular body decorated with delicately rendered floral sprays and butterflies in an overglaze enamel palette. The matching domed cover is surmounted by a flared finial and repeats the floral motif across its surface. The base bears an iron-red seal mark.
