Each vase has a distinct design, varying in shape and pattern against a blue and black background. All feature a flat top over an elongated neck. The largest vase has two handles. The Grand Tour was the 17th to early 19th-century custom of a traditional trip through Europe, with Italy as a key destination, undertaken by upper-class young European men.
