A rare and highly decorative theatrical composition by renowned Russian Soviet stage designer Vadim Fyodorovich Ryndin. The work beautifully captures the spirit of the Russian avant-garde and Constructivist theater of the 1930s, combining stylized circus figures, geometric movement, and vivid color into a striking Art Deco influenced composition. The reverse with period inscriptions, sketches, and studio annotations further supports the works authentic theatrical and studio origin. Ryndin later became one of the leading Soviet scenographers and Chief Designer of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. His works are held in major collections including the State Tretyakov Gallery and Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum. Framed.
