A Russian Soviet Order of the Red Banner, the first Soviet military decoration, featuring a white-enamelled badge with the iconic hammer and sickle surrounded by two golden panicles of wheat on a red star. The red star is backed by a crossed hammer, plough, torch, and a red flag inscribed with the motto Proletarians of All Countries, Unite! The letters USSR appear at the bottom in Russian. The award includes a screw-back mechanism and is presented in its original box. Additionally, the lot includes an official document issued by The Peoples Commissariat for Internal Affairs in 1940, certifying the recipient as a Strike Worker of the RKKA Workers and Peasants Red Army.
