A Russian gilt Silver and enamel cigarette case. The case is adorned with polychrome image of a heron in a landscape with blossoming flowers, trees surrounded by circular and foliage motif manufactured using the Plique a Jour and Cloisonne techniques, on the front, on the backside, and on the sides. A Gold wash interior. The case is encrusted with a gemstone on a clasp. Marked with a Russian Silver standard hallmark, a makers mark, and other marks.
